Construction Work of Rajasthan’s First Interactive Museum Begins in Jaipur

We all remember the movie “A Night in the Museum”.  Ever thought of having the same kind of experience in Jaipur Museum? No, No… It is not going to be that scary but adventurous indeed. Are you all excited??

The construction work of Rajasthan’s first experimental and interactive museum, having facilities at par with international standards, began in Jaipur yesterday the November02, 2011. The museum in the erstwhile state assembly building, ‘SwaiManSinghTown hall’ will be ready in two years. The museum will have a 4-D theatre, an interactive model of Jaipur which will enable people view the city from all angles and understand its unique planning standards. There will be art, science and children’s galleries in the museum, being set up at an estimated cost of Rs 45 crore. Ancient Rajasthani paintings, textiles, sculptures, coins and weapons will also be on display.

Now, going to museum would not be boring for the kids any more!
