Bird fair in pink city — Bee there!


The mysterious floating palace of Jaipur; the former royal haunt in the middle of a lake was neglected for 200 years. The palace has now been restored to its former grandeur after a six-year renovation project with a team of architects and craftspeople. Jal Mahal palace, set in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur is said to have been built as a royal summer retreat and was once used for royals to host duck hunting parties.

Enjoy bird watching on 5th and 6th of February, 2016 at the Man Sagar Dam in its picturesque surroundings. This 19th Indian birding fair is dedicated to honey bee conservation and the fair aims at restoring this heritage lake.
